This week was one of the most anticipated events of the year – the fourth-annual Real Women Christmas Dinner! The two-night, sold-out event featured a fun photo booth, carolers and special music, yummy dinner and dessert, the ever-famous shoe competition, and a special Christmas message from Grace Driscoll called “O Come Let Us Adore Him”.
As the ladies entered the building, they were met by a 10-foot manger scene to set the stage for the evening as we remember the birth of Jesus, the one who we adore most, as well as carolers singing a joyful, beautiful song to the Lord.
Upon entering the building, the lobby was transformed into a beautiful blue and silver wonderland, complete with a sleigh for photo opportunities with friends, family, Real Women life groups, and more!
Several of the ladies of Trinity Worship opened the evening with beautiful music to welcome everyone, before a fantastic meal was served by the incredible Real Men of Trinity Church. Shoutout to each of the men who served, making sure no water cup was left empty and that everyone received a delicious dinner and yummy desserts.
After a heartfelt introduction from Pastor Mark, Grace Driscoll shared an incredible message on adoration of Jesus called “O Come Let Us Adore Him” based on Luke 1:46-55 and Mary’s song of adoration to her baby son, Jesus.
Then, one of the most anticipated events of the evening – the shoe competition! It’s always incredible to see how everyone goes above and beyond in determining and decorating their shoes to wear each year! A special thank you to our esteemed panel of judges each night who had a difficult decision to make on the winner of each category – beautiful and bedazzled, fun and festive, and creative teen shoes.
Following the shoe competition, the evening closed with more worship as the ladies in attendance joined together in song to celebrate Christmas and continuously point their hearts towards the One worthy of all praise – Jesus!
