Week of November 13th Newsletter

It may only be mid-November, but how many of you have already put up your Christmas trees? After a crazy couple of years, we’ve heard a number of people in our church family say they’re already in full Christmas mode…and we are too! Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we announce all the fun plans we have for December, which will essentially be a giant, month-long party to celebrate the birth of Jesus and practice for Heaven!

Do you enjoy singing and love Christmas? We have a serving opportunity for you! For Christmas Eve services, we will have a Christmas choir and if those two things describe you, we’d love to have you join us! The best way to get involved is to CLICK HERE AND FILL OUT THIS FORM. Christmas Eve (Dec. 23-24) will most likely be the biggest two nights of services in the history of our church, so we’d love to have you join us in the choir.

Just a week after registrations opened, we are over halfway at capacity for our annual Real Women Christmas Dinner at Trinity Church! The event will be taking place December 7&8 from 6:30-8:30 PM and each evening will include special music, a delicious catered dinner and desserts, the famous annual shoe competition with prizes, fellowship with amazing women, and a special Christmas message from Grace Driscoll. We will also be collecting gift cards from Amazon, Target, or Walmart for single moms at the dinner. For more information and to register, click here, and don’t delay, as both nights sold out last year. Childcare will be provided.

All throughout the month of November, we have the opportunity to partner with Harvest Compassion Center for a Christmas toy drive to help bless kids in our community. Harvest Compassion Center is different in that they pray with and for every person who comes through and also give out Bibles to those they serve. We invite you to bring in your new, unwrapped toys all throughout the month of November to help bless kids who may not otherwise get gifts this Christmas season. God has blessed our church family so generously and we look forward to having the opportunity to bless others this Christmas.

We recently heard the story of a family that drove over three hours just to attend the 9 AM service at Trinity because their church is still closed! Wow! We are so blessed each week to hear incredible stories of how God is using Trinity Church in the lives of so many people and families, changing lives and legacies. Have a cool story of how God has used Trinity in your life? We’d love to hear it! Just reply to this email.

This week at Real Men and Real Women, we heard incredible testimonies of God’s faithfulness in the lives of our church family! At Real Women, Debra Boblitt, part of the church family who worked in the corporate world for 30+ years, told several stories of God showing up in her life. One story in particular took Debra to Israel for what she thought was a work conference. When a sudden pain in her neck due to a growing cyst put her in the hospital while in Tel Aviv for work, she and her family were able to share Jesus with her hospital roommate. This lady accepted Jesus and was miraculously healed from brain tumors she had battled for years.

At Real Men, three recent graduates of Pastor Darien’s Christian chaplaincy program, Men Coaching Men, shared their testimonies. For over 25 years, MCM has been helping men be more loving husbands, tender-hearted fathers, honorable sons, godly brothers, and faithful witnesses of the love of Christ to their communities, which aligns with Pastor Mark’s heart for training men. Pastor Darien is honored to also help Pastor Mark serve the men at Trinity through the ministry of Real Men.
