Pastor Darien Bennett

From early childhood, he competed in football, baseball, and boxing in high school and college until serious knee injuries derailed his professional aspirations. He retired from IBM after 25 years as a manager, systems analyst, auditor and marketing representative. Pastor Darien became a Christian later in life, and went on to receive a Masters of Divinity from Phoenix Seminary. Serving for the valley for more than twenty years as a Pastor, Darien has lead “Men Coaching Men” building up men and their families [https://mencoachingmen.org/]. He is married to the love of his life, Kellie ,and has two grown adult children and three beloved grandchildren. He is passionate about studying and teaching God’s Word. He also loves to fly-fish anytime he can. But mostly, he is devoted to helping hurting men just like someone did for him many years ago! This includes a formal discipleship program for men called J3, and the Heart to Heart Christian Chaplaincy program to train men to effectively do ministry on the job and in the community.

Carl Steele

Operations Assistant Carl and his wife Danielle were both born and raised in North Dakota. Carl grew up in a Godly home and started following Jesus at a very young age. After graduating with a degree in Exercise Science from North Dakota State, Carl worked in downtown Chicago for about a year and a half. After Danielle got her undergrad degree, Carl and Danielle got married in Fargo, ND. The next day, they moved to Arizona so Danielle could pursue her master’s degree in Speech Pathology at ASU. During his time in college, Carl was heavily involved in his church as both a youth leader and as a small group leader with a college ministry. After moving to Chicago, he continued working with a college ministry while serving at his local church. Carl and Danni started coming to The Trinity Church right before the church’s first birthday and fell in love with the people and the Bible teaching right away. They started serving at the church within a couple of weeks and had the opportunity to co-lead a Life Group the following spring. They absolutely love the joyful, giving attitude of the people at Trinity that makes being part of the family such a joy.

Carrigan Wright

Communication Assistant Carrigan and her husband, Stephen, are a young couple who started serving in Trinity Kids before the official launch of the church. Since then, Carrigan has continued on to help with communications and still serves alongside Stephen on Sundays. Growing up in a Christian household, she didn’t commit her life to Christ until her high school years. God's love freed her from severe anxiety, heavy depression, and wavering health. Some of her earliest memories are of volunteering with her father in church tech teams. She feels incredibly fortunate to be able to serve her church home with an eye for design and detail behind the scenes. The Wrights look forward to building a family at The Trinity Church.

Landon Chase

Worship Assistant Landon Chase is a recent graduate from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Entrepreneurship, he grew up in an “all in” ministry family learning a heart of service on one of the largest camps in the Northwest. He is passionate about developing culture and helping the next generation get excited about their relationship with Jesus. He helped out at The Trinity Church since day one, everything from construction to children's worship. He loves that The Trinity Church is a culture focused on loving Jesus and loving people and that is reflected in every area of the church family. He is now helping further develop the service production team and student life groups. Landon also leads a couple of youth camps in northern Arizona.

Jazmin Garven

Worship Assistant Jazmin is a current student at Arizona Christian University, studying for her bachelor's degree in music. Because of the love and support of the Trinity family, she has been able to experience so much growth both as a musician and follower of Christ. She started serving in the earliest stages of the church plant as a high school student, and now has the joy and privilege of helping to mentor younger girls in the student ministry she was once a part of. Her favorite aspect about The Trinity Church, however, is the ability to serve alongside of multiple different generations of people that have true hearts of service. In her time spent outside of church, she primarily enjoys writing and making music.
