FAQs

Does The Trinity Church have membership?

We like to say that we do relationship rather than membership. Team Trinity Track is a series of relational classes that introduce you to the church leaders and get you plugged into Team Trinity. Team Trinity is made up of every single person who serves in any way to further the mission of The Trinity Church: We open our Bibles to learn, we open our lives to love so that lives and legacies are transformed. Team Trinity Track classes take place the first four Sundays of every month for one hour following the 11am service. If you miss a week, classes run every month so you can make it up at any time.

How can I meet Pastor Mark and Grace Driscoll?

Most Sundays, the Driscoll’s are easy to find and say hello to. You can also join us for the weekly Team Trinity Track after the 11am service where Pastor Mark welcomes people to the church and answers questions in an informal and relational context. Men can join Pastor Mark for Men’s Life Groups at the church on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM where Mark is easy to speak with. Women can join Grace for Women’s Life Groups on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM or 6:30 PM at the church where she is also easy to speak with.

Is The Trinity Church generationally focused?

The Trinity Church is a multi-generational with an emphasis on non-Christians and young families. Like any healthy extended family, our church family has all ages and life stages.

What does The Trinity Church believe?

The Bible is the highest doctrinal authority for The Trinity Church. The following biblical beliefs serve as our confession of faith. Other churches and ministries are welcome to also use this confession of faith if they desire.

Is there pre-marital counseling?

A few times a year, there is a premarital counseling class for couples considering marriage. Pastor Mark and Grace Driscoll use much of the content from their book, Real Marriage, to teach the class. Older mentoring couples walk with premarital couples in relationship to love and serve them. Check the calendar to see the next class start date.

We are blessed to have many seasoned leaders with decades of international missions experience. They lead numerous trips throughout the year to multiple countries.

How do people dress?

Like most families, our church family has people who are formal and people who are informal. Whether you are wearing a suit or dress, or flip flops and shorts, you will find lots of people dressed just like you.

What Bible translation does Pastor Mark teach from?

Pastor Mark usually preaches through books of the Bible verse-by-verse. In his personal study, he uses multiple English Bible translations and encourages other people to do the same. For preaching, Pastor Mark prefers to use the English Standard Version of the Bible [ESV].

What is a church service like?

We generally start with a few worship songs followed by announcements about what is going on at the church. We then have a Bible based sermon, followed by communion every week and a few more songs. To close the service, Pastor Mark gives us a few announcements and his wife, Grace, prays for our church family. Communion is for Christians and reminds us of Jesus body broken and blood shed on the cross in our place for our sins. We offer both wine and grape juice to make all Christians feel welcome operating according to their conscience.

Where do I send a prayer request?

After every church service we have male and female prayer team leaders up front to pray for any need. All you need to do is just walk toward the stage and let them know how to pray and they will.

Can the church building be rented for weddings or other events?

At this point, the church building can only be used by people who are part of the church family and approved by a pastor. We want to help invest in relationships and walk with people into their marriage, so we get to know potential couples before we let them use our building. For those who are part of our church family, we keep the building costs as low as possible in an effort to help the couple.
