GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Overview:

The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our ministries and events. This position involves creating compelling graphics for various platforms, including services, social media, online platforms, and physical signage.

ROLE-SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS

  • Design and Create Graphics: Develop visually appealing graphics for church services, special events, and various ministries. This includes sermon series graphics, event flyers, social media posts, and more.
  • Collaborate with Ministry Leaders: Work closely with ministry leaders to understand their vision and needs and translate these into effective visual designs.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the church’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
  • Social Media and Online Presence: Create engaging and shareable content for the church’s social media channels and website, enhancing our online presence.
  • Signage and Promotional Materials: Design banners, posters, and other signage to promote events and services within the church and the community.
  • Feedback and Revisions: Accept and incorporate feedback from ministry leaders and the communications team, making revisions as necessary to meet their needs.

Qualifications

  1. A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  2. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and ministry leaders.
