2021 Survival Guide
Howdy, Trinity Family!
We just wrapped up the first weekend of the new year, and we can honestly say, 2021 is off to a GREAT start at the Trinity Church!
God is doing something so special here, and we are glad that you are all a part of this incredible story of the outpouring of God’s grace which has only begun in our 4th year!
Here are a few highlights from 2020 compared to 2019:
- Weekly attendance was up 186%
- Students attendance was up 240%
- Kids attendance was up over 300%
- Since September we added 928 children to our kid’s roster
- In November & December, we baptized 117 people
- For our week of Christmas, we had a record 4,000+ people on the property
If you were at one of the services this past weekend, you heard Pastor Mark describe some of the awesome things coming up this year.
From brand new sermon series like Pray Like Jesus starting this week and giving away the first copies of the book he’s written with his daughter Ashley as a free gift, to Life Groups to throwing more parties, there are SO many things to look forward to throughout the year!
This past weekend, we also installed two new pastors, Pastor Landon Chase, and Pastor Carl Steele. Both young men started faithfully serving as volunteers since the beginning of the church and have been on staff getting developed for their new role.
Pastor Landon oversees all of our Next Generation ministries and is often jokingly called the “Pastor of Fun.” If you or your kids had fun this past year in the Backyard, it’s because Pastor Landon knows how to throw a party!
Pastor Carl oversees all of our Home Life Groups and our Guest Services. If you felt welcomed coming into the church or are plugged into a life group, it’s because Pastor Carl genuinely loves every person who comes through our door and wants to see them connected.
Next time you see one of them, be sure to say hi!
If you weren’t there this weekend, don’t worry! Be sure to watch this weekend’s special sermon from Pastor Mark and watch the installation of the new pastors in the video above!
Finally, as you pray and make plans for this year, we ask that you pray about joining Trinity’s incredible team and then join us for our Join the Team Weekend on January 23rd and 24th.
It’s a party where we’ll tell you all about Team Trinity and how God works for you, in you, and through you!
If you thought 2020 was fun at the Trinity Church, just wait till you experience 2021. Thank you for being a generous and joyful church family and continuing to press forward as we add more services, and fundraise for more classrooms so that we can add more people to our growing family as people need Jesus more than ever!
