Pastor Mark Driscoll
Each Christmas we celebrate the biggest holiday in the world – the birthday of Jesus Christ. The holiday includes the giving and receiving of gifts. This tradition goes all the way back to the wise men who brought gifts to the baby Jesus. Their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh were curious choices for a baby. They represent his role as King (gold), Priest (frankincense), and one who would die for our sacrifice for our sins (myrrh). Jesus Christ is God’s gift to use this holiday season to give us the gifts of forgiveness, restored relationship, and eternal life.
